About the project
- In 1992. we were engaged on project, design and
implementation of a high press pipeline test system.
- On the hydraulic testing equipment,
we implement a control and monitoring
system based on IBM PC compatible
computer and appropriate control electronic.
- System control whole test process. First, low level pipe fulling.
Next step was implementation of a high pressure, and holding it
over a time defined in test procedure. Discharge was at the end of a process.
Software
- Software was writen in Microsoft C 6.1 for MS-DOS.
- A graphics user interface was impemented.
- It was an application strictly based on custom request.
- All control and measurement procedures was implemented in real time.
Main features
- Even it was written in for MS-DOS system,
application had very inovative
graphics user interface.
- Test result apre printed in a report list,
with graphics diagrams for test pressure values.
- There was a database archive of test reports already done.
